Birzeit University celebrated on February 16, 2015 the launching of Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani chair of the Arabic language Department/Faculty of Arts. The celebration was followed by a lecture on the historical linguistics lexicon, delivered by the Faculty of Arts dean and Sheikh Tamim chair Mahdi Arar.
