The lecture was delivered by Sociology Professor, Khaled Audet Allah, on 14 March 2012, and was attended by faculty members, students and other interested individuals.

The Lecturer presented an introduction to the theory of war and addressed the changing concepts of war. He overviewed three types of war: war after victory, war of networks, and the cultural war. Later, he focused on contemporary war that targets communities.
