Dr. Grace Khoury is the dean of the Faculty of Business and
Economics. She is an associate professor
of management and has been the director of MBA program at Birzeit University in
Palestine for six years. She has over
twenty five years of experience as a university professor, administrator,
students’ career advisor, researcher, management trainer and consultant at
private and public organizations. She is also the marketing director of her
family owned business Taybeh Brewing Company.
She holds an MBA from Suffolk University, USA, and PhD in human resource
management from Bradford University, UK. She served as a university council
member, an academic council member and on a number of university and community
committees. She obtained certificates in project management and customer
relationship management. She has published a number of management case studies
and research articles in several academic journals. She is co-editor of a case
book titled Rising to the Digital Challenge: Lessons from Mediterranean
Enterprises (2005). She is co-author of “The Palestinian Executive: Leadership
under Challenging Conditions”, Gower, UK (2012). She is also a co-editor of a
book titled “Cases on Management and Organizational Behavior in an Arab
Context”, IGI, USA (2014) in which she is a co-author of two chapters.

Supervised twelve MBA thesis at Birzeit University and Al-Najah University.
2004 -2007: Chairperson of the business administration
and finance department and director of the MBA program, Birzeit University
Managing two large departments consisting of around 700 students and 26 faculty members. Responsible for course offering, semester scheduling, students’ advisory system, departments program evaluations, faculty recruiting, course planning, updating books and study material, dealing with faculty and students’ issues and other monitoring and evaluation issues. Revised two undergraduate programs in finance and business administration, conducted internal program evaluation, introduced new courses, designed a new MBA admission test. Introduced the marketing major.
